Arun Das a.k.a. Putu, is the
drummer of Empty Spaces. Arun is a very
passionate Virgo and considers his musical influences to include
Deep Purple, The Police, Coldplay, and Linkin Park.
Arun is a
hardcore techie and understandbly, he is a software engineer by
profession and resides at Bangalore. He is an alumnus of St.
Xavier's school and college, Calcutta, and has completed his
post-graduation from PESIT, Bangalore.
Arun's present
stage gear includes a vintage-red TAMA Superstar kit, equipped with
a Zildjian A Custom 14" Hi-Hats, Zildjian A Custom 16" and 18"
Crashes, Zildjian A Custom 20" Ride, Zildjian ZHT 16" China and a
Zildjian ZHT 10" Splash.
